WHAT IS BUBBLE TEA?
Bubble Tea, also known as BOBA tea, is a refreshing and trendy beverage originating from Taiwan. What makes Bubble Tea unique are the tapioca balls, also known as ‘boba’ or ‘pearls’, added to the bottom of the drink. These tapioca balls are soft and chewy in texture, made from tapioca starch derived from the cassava root.
